Old school players
So looking back there were some good footballers that I use to enjoy watching that played on other teams.

I always liked Stan Bowles, Matt Le Tissier and Frank worthington.

Who do you look back on as a favorite.

As a kid I thought hoddle was a great player.

As an adult and as a person, I think he's a fuxking melt

Re: Old school players
Yeah Hoddle could play. He’s got to rank as one of their best players. Shame he played for them though.

I remember thinking Paul Bracewell at Everton was a wonderful player. When he should have reached the peak of his career a serious injury ruled him out for 2 entire seasons.

Still ended up playing nearly 600 games though. Mostly for Sunderland.

Kevin Sheedy was another good everton player, lovely left peg, Eire produced some quality players in those days.

Blimey, so many.

For me when I was young, Hagi and Stoichkov up front, Baresi and Maldini Snr at the back.

I've always loved those players who make your heart miss a beat when they get the ball. George Best, for example.

Ah Platini
Another player who I thought was great as a kid and despise as a human being now I've e grown up.

Always hated that fat little drug cheat Diego Maradona though, even if he was an amazing player.

The dutch trio of Van Basten, Gullit and Rjikaard were very special. In fact, that early 90's Milan side were just fucking outrageous.

Galli
Tassotti
Baresi (c)
Costacurta
Maldini
Colombo
Rjikaard
Ancelotti
Donadoni
Gullit
Van Basten
